President Biden’s six-pronged COVID-19 action plan, announced today, includes a directive to OSHA to require (via an Emergency Temporary Standard) all employers with 100 or more employees to mandate vaccination or weekly testing (and proof of negative test results before returning to work) for their workforce. The rule purportedly will also require employers to provide paid time off for workers to get vaccinated or to recover from adverse effects associated with the vaccination.
